Anveshi - Research Centre for Women's Studies

Lakshmi joined Anveshi as a librarian in 2002. She holds a Masters degree in Library and Information Science (M.L.I.Sc) from Osmania University, Hyderabad. She also has a Post Graduate Diploma in Library Automation and Networking (PGDLAN) from University of Hyderabad, and her dissertation is titled "An Automation Proposal for Anveshi Library: A Feasible Study". She has had professional training at the Indira Gandhi Memorial Library at this University. Apart from her work with the library she is interested in literature and feminist politics, and has published articles in Telugu periodicals.

K.Venkata Lakshmi is a postgraduate in Library and Information Science and English. She joined Anveshi in March 2009 as an Assistant Librarian and participates in all the functions of library including its computerization. She also prepares materials for library newsletters.

Rajyalakshmi is the first full-time Accounts Officer at Anveshi and has been with us since 2000. She is responsible for all financial matters, donor compliance, legal compliance and tax matters at Anveshi. Rajyalakshmi holds an MBA from Symbiosis Institute of Management, Pune.

Srilakshmi has been with Anveshi since 1997, when she joined as Office Secretary. Her expertise in English-to-Telugu DTP work has been used towards many of Anveshi's publications, most recently Savaalaksha Sandehaalu, a health-book for women. She provides critical infrastructural support to all activities in Anveshi. Srilakshmi has a Masters degree in Sociology.

Chaitanya is a Project Assistant in the Dalits and Minorities Initiative, and has been at Anveshi since 2004. She handles transcriptions, DTP related work  and also helps in Library. Chaitanya is a singer and cultural activist, closely associated with other organisations like Arunodaya and Bahuroopula Kalamandali . She was an active participant in the anti-arrack movement in the early nineties in Andhra Pradesh.

Ravinder is the senior-most employee of Anveshi. He has been working as an Office Assistant since 1987 and provides logistic support for all activities of the organisation.

Vijaya joined Anveshi in 2002. She works as an Office Assistant.
