The library newsletter of Sept- Oct,2011 carries a report by Dr. A.Sueetha, M.A.Moid and Dr.P.H.Mohammad on communal conflict in Siddipet, Medak district.
On 12th October 2011, Siddipet town witnessed disturbances of communal nature, The reason was the discovery of torned pages of Quran at the main center of the town. The Muslims demanded the culprits to the booked and wanted an answer that what was the purpose of this incident in Siddipet. It was found that the press carried conflicting reports which prompted the field visit.
The Siddipet report is based on the opinions & experiences gathered during the field visit. The findings were seen in the light of separate Telangana movement and discussed its possible implications
